Hoggs Hollow (C12)
Hoggs Hollow is an enchanting place set in a rustic beauty of the Don River valley. It comprises of winding crescents and private cul de sacs. Hoggs Hollow was built between the 40 year span of 1920 to 1960 which accounts for the curious mixture of Tudor, Colonial, Georgian and Modernist architecture. Most of the homes are detached with a few luxury condominium buildings in the mix. Hoggs Hollow is named after James Hogg, a Scotsman who settled in Canada in 1824. There are currently only four of the original Hoggs Hollow homes left and now serve as landmarks in the neighbourhood. Today Hoggs Hollow is another of Toronto’s elite neighbourhoods with privacy and lush landscape its defining characteristics.
