Forest Hill (C03)
The Forest Hill Neighbourhood is one of Toronto’s most prestigious. It’s a neighbourhood that is well-known as one of the city’s most distinguished addresses.Forest Hill, lying south of Eglinton Ave. between Bathurst Street and Oriole Parkway, was developed in the 1920s and 1930s, While the somewhat more modest homes of Upper Forest Hill lie north of Eglinton and were built in the 1940s and 1950s.
The two areas make up a distinctive neighbourhood of brick and stone mansions, set along elegant winding streets lined with mature trees and small parks. You will find a mixture of grand residences and smaller homes, all situated on generous, well landscaped grounds. Many of Toronto’s most prominent families reside in Forest Hill.
Two of the leading private schools in Canada, are located in Forest Hill; Upper Canada College for boys and Bishop Strachan School for girls.
Forest Hill Village is well known for its exclusive boutiques, restaurants, galleries and shops catering to the needs of the area’s affluent residents.
